Dream Home - Part 15

Painted wall now. The red colour matches both the wall and ceiling fans. I will install the TV bracket next time. You can see holes below the socket. This is to run the wire down to the audio system and as well the TV wire and so on. This is to ensure no messy wires between the TV and cabinet later.

Ceiling fans and lighting also installed. New image KDK ceiling fan

School Concert

On the 24th of November, Waie took part in the concert organised by Learning Tree School. The concert was performed at Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin (S.O.A.S) school. This is part of the activity participated by the school every year especially during end of year

Dream Home - Part 14

Hi again, news update. It's already more than one year plus now but still again and again so many changes to be made. All wiring need to be changed according to the new rules from the Electrical department. Delaying work due to colour changes since it's not a good choice, shortage of workers and many more. But so far...ok. Photos taken on the changes that had been made recently. Now almost all areas had been painted except outside the kitchen area. I got the new photo but unable to download it here.

The line changed to grey colour. Before it was white

I used aluminium for the bathroom door. Quite a small entrance compared to the wooden door but ok, only a few centimetres

Shower installed and also the sink cabinet from Vigo. It's also aluminium, won't rust. All faucets and showers are from Figo brand. Hope it will last long

Kitchen section, almost finished. Informed the worker to inspect any damages or minor fix to before they're off. The small kitchen costs around $10,000 already....looks that simple. But I've asked other shops and it costs more than that. The counter top made the whole things expensive.

Haha....ceiling fans and lightings installed. The blades will match the backdrop colour of the wall. The lighting will change colours by pressing the remote button. It's just amazing. Ceiling fans for all bedroom also installed ut couldn't show here due no photos. Will upload more photos soon

I hope I could provide more informations and details about this house. Until then, bye bye.

Arif in action

This snap shot was taken during our trip to Labuan. While browsing what to buy, I saw this hat and let Arif put it on. Actually, photo was not allowed in this supermarket. Took the opportunity, so gambar saja lah.

Wearing the kopiah

Below: do not follow this action, too dangerous.....ayoyo. Don't know how he managed to climb that big toy bike

Dream Home - Part 13

Sorry for the delay in updating the blog. Here it is. This image was not fully painted since we are still choosing the right paint for the house. Actually, it was painted last two weeks. I have no time but will update again with more photos soon.

Thinking of dark grey colours for the lines to make it more outstanding

Last Celebration

30th July: We went to the Padang since it will be the last celebration before fasting month. They said that there will be fireworks that night, so off we go. Traffic jams started as early as 6.00pm at Bandar Seri Begawan town area. Here are some of the photos taken that night.

Photo of His Majesty the Sultan

Crowded with people on the street

Nice cup cakes with lot of varieties. If it's free, I would like to try all of them. Forgot to ask how much this yummy cakes cost

Stick candy or Gulali for $1.00

Colourful lights at town area. We're headed to the water front where the fire works going to be

Anxiously waiting for the fire works to begin

Snap shot of water village or Kampung Air while waiting for the fire works. I like this very much. Looks like painting

Another shot. Isn't it looks stunning shooting at night??? The lights make it looks great and 'stand out' the building being focused. "Photography is all about light" Amy Renfrey, Queensland.

I don't know what this statue means, may be represents the water front symbol

Finally, boom....boom....without warning, the fire works on the move

Shoot using Nikon D90. Select manual for bulb mode

Actually, this is the first round of fire works. Second fire works commence after 30 minutes. It took about 20 to 30 minutes of show.

Arif's 1st Birthday

Went to Aiko Sushi on Wednesday, 27th July 2011 to celebrate Arif's first birthday. Invite families but some unable to turn up due to very busy. Arif is now one year old. The food served was good indeed but we don't like the sitting arrangement due to overcrowded.

Upin Ipin blueberry ice cream cake. I have no chance to eat this.

The Waterfront

Visited the BSB waterfront to take a look at it. Quite nice with colourful lights at night. The BSB waterfront was relaunched on Saturday 28th of May by DPMM. Fireworks and boat parades also involved in this ceremony. But at that time, not decided to go since we knew that it will be crowded.

Future Chelsea football player?

Not my photo actually. Taken from google website. Looks nice indeed.

Dream Home - Part 12

Continued from last week and I think this was not in the blog. Design by me...hehehehe.... After critical thinking, I informed the contractor to install them as what in the photo. Quite difficult to create since it needs to measure correctly for equality.

The finished stair case tiles. I'm thinking of design it differently. Actually I want the brown tile to be in between the white tile but due to wasting of tiles, so cancelled.

Bought this sink basin and mirror for main bathroom. The cabinet was made of stainless steel so rust proof

Now, it's time for us to search for doors. Below - look impressive but one cost $300. This is relective mirror. For outside doors, we will go for security type

One of the mirror to be in the new house
