My DIY Project

During my week off, I spent sometimes and installed another car audio system in one of the car. I purchased the accessories bit by bit until I'm able to work it out. Finally, managed to finish it in two weeks.

4 gauge power cable from knukoncept. Very flexible and very thick wire strains but the wire insulation is thin...can easily be pierced by sharp objects

Quite difficult to push the wire to the other side since the engine bay has limited space. Took almost an hour to find the rubber grommet and piercing the thick cable through

Finally, install the fuse holder also by knukoncept. The fuse holder that they supplied with the cable was incorrect. Imagine how can you fit and attach the wire to a small fuse holder link? They should have supplied the correct fuse holder for 4 gauge cable. I have to trim the wire strains to fit the holder

Alpine CDA-117E. Testing them ensure that all are in good condition. New head unit has no RCA input for external equalizer..bad. But 3 RCA inputs to plug to the external amplifiers

Design my own subwoofer enclosure by following the correct specifications from the manual. This is a ported sub box measuring a volume of 0.38 cu.ft. I also design my own amplifier rack. Here is way the work need to be more precise since trimming the woods need a lot of time and patience. New polk audio amplifier PA D5000.5 (5 channels) with sub adjust booster.

Do some cleaning after all the mess up. Now it's time to crank up the volume for fine tuning and adjustment.

So after all the hard work, I'm happy about my DIY project. All items back to its place. Now I can enjoy listening to the new audio system with full blast...hehehe.
